About Peterson’s Academic Skills Training

Created specifically for DANTES, Peterson’s Academic Skills training program includes courses to improve the academic skills and readiness of service members as they progress through scholastic and occupational pathways during their military career. This one-of-a-kind program addresses both subject-specific learning (i.e., math, English, science) as well as important learning attributes like study habits, goal planning, and resiliency. Learner supports exist within the courses to provide technical assistance and facilitate peer-to-peer engagement.

For Educational Service Officers (ESOs), counselors, and leadership, Peterson’s provides an administrator portal with administrator training modules and a dashboard access to monitor and analyze user progress by installation. The portal also provides outreach and other informational materials to help promote service member usage.
